Coolest Low-budget Items

A while back, Felix started a thread on innocuous magic items. (http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=200151) That thread went into neat core or home-brewed items that were neat but not terribly useful. (Ex. Pen that colors fingernails any color you desire.) There was another thread started by MithrasRahl on top 10 mundane but useful items (ex. 10' pole.)

What I was wondering was what people thought was some of the coolest LOW COST magic items out there. I'm DMing for the first time in a long time, so I'm keeping my eye out for cool rewards that I won't regret giving out down the road.

Someone on this board (someone might know) created a magic item called the Ring of Tuesday.

The ring's sole purpose was to make it Tuesday all the time for the wearer.

I have to figure out a way to use that in a game sometime in my lifetime.

Feather Token: Tree. By far the most commonly stocked item for all of my PCs (other than potions/wands of healing).

Hat of disguise. For something like 2 grand you get to make "WANTED" posters obsolete. I'd say that more than half the character in our parties have one.

Pipe of the sewers.

Famous last words of the BBEG in that game: "RATS!"

Bards song works great on hordes of rats.

Sadly 3.5 nerved that item

Goggles of Foefinding (MIC) are pretty awesome for a ranged type character.

Abyssal Bloodiron. If you get to the Abyss, it's laying around and free for the taking.

Decanters of Endless Water. With sufficient patience and a wand of Water Breathing, they can do your half your work for you. And if you are in Athas, you are god.

Force Beads. (Nothing Says I hate you like an Illussory Terrain and well planted force beads. )

Oils of Slipperiness (Unintelligent Undead, a pit trap, and an incline; or the catch the greased up Mage)

Sovereign Glue (nuff said)
