His story has him as Pre, but I could change it to post if it would fit in with the story better. I didn't know if you wanted to start it off in post or pre.

It's a Post-Vanishing game, about 5 years after the event (maybe if this campaign goes off well, I'll try and play a campaign that starts during the Hours).

Sticking to the back roads, seeking work any place he could, scavenging the occasional still-derelict building... pretty much going 'off the grid'.
The game starts on a rest stop deep in some backroad of America (and will eventually go world-wide).

The background for Garret is updated. Let me know if I messed up again. I'm assuming since it was a virus that my vehicle is okay. If it's not, then ......... I goofed and will redo it lol

5 years after the Hours, they are used to living in this world, and believe that they were not the harbingers of this havoc, but instead blame it to the CLULESS Virus.
Yeah, they remember the Hours... if they appeared during the Hours. Sometimes they appear a long time after it (there's still plenty of infected computers out there).
