Corrupt Possession: Vile Magic for Seductresses

Iron_Chef

First Post
Baator's Bewitching Beauty [Evil, Lawful]
Conjuration (Summoning)
Level: Corrupt 1
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 minute
Range: Touch
Target: Creature touched
Duration: 1 hour/level
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless)

The target (which can be yourself) must be a living, sentient humanoid and willing (though not necessarily told the whole truth of the spell). You call out to, and accept, an extremely limited form of possession by an erinyes (infernal temptress), becoming more beautiful, seductive and charismatic.

The possession grants a +2 possession bonus at 1st level (+4 at 3rd level and the maximum bonus of +6 at 5th level) to all Charisma checks against those attracted to your gender and a +1 circumstance bonus per caster level (maximum bonus of +3) to same against lawful evil aligned outsiders, such as baatezu.

While possessed, you detect as a lawful evil creature of a power rating equal to your total character level, and you must make a Will save (DC equal to the caster's normal DC for a spell of this type) to undertake any action that does not conform to a lawful evil alignment.

Special: Possession bonuses do not stack with each other but do stack with other types of bonuses.

Corruption Cost: 1d4 points of temporary Wisdom damage, paid by the recipient of the possession. Anyone reduced to 0 Wisdom by means of repeated applications of this spell has their soul devoured by the possessing erinyes, though their body continues to live, and is now the home of the erinyes for the host's normal life cycle. The erinyes can operate in it as she pleases (though she cannot access any of her baatezu qualities, including spell-like or supernatural abilities) with total control until the the body is slain. Such characters cannot be raised, ressurected or otherwise brought back to life by any means. The erinyes is not under the control of the spell's original caster. This spell is freely given out by agents of the baatezu to vain or desperate women eager to pay any price for beauty.

Material Component: The caster must draw an
unholy symbol on the target’s flesh. If the caster uses
human blood not from the caster or the target to do
so, the duration of the spell is doubled.

Abyssal Aura of Beauty [Evil, Chaotic]
Conjuration (Summoning)
Level: Corrupt 1
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 minute
Range: Touch
Target: Creature touched
Duration: 1 hour/level
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless)

The target (which can be yourself) must be a living, sentient humanoid and willing (though not necessarily told the whole truth of the spell). You call out to, and accept, an extremely limited form of possession by an succubus (demonic temptress), becoming more beautiful, seductive and charismatic.

The possession grants a +2 possession bonus at 1st level (+4 at 3rd level and the maximum bonus of +6 at 5th level) against those attracted to your gender and a +1 circumstance bonus per caster level (maximum bonus of +3) to same against chaotic evil aligned outsiders, such as tanaa'ri.

While possessed, you detect as a chaotic evil creature of a power rating equal to your total character level, and you must make a Will save (DC equal to the caster's normal DC for a spell of this type) to undertake any action that does not conform to a chaotic evil alignment.

Special: Possession bonuses do not stack with each other but do stack with other types of bonuses.

Anyone reduced to 0 Wisdom by means of repeated applications of this spell has their soul devoured by the possessing succubus, though their body continues to live, and is now the home of the succubus for the host's normal life cycle. The succubus can operate in it as she pleases (though she cannot access any of her tanaar'ri qualities, including spell-like or supernatural abilities) with total control until the the body is slain or she abandons it (causing it to die). Such characters cannot be raised, ressurected or otherwise brought back to life by any means. The succubus is not under the control of the spell's original caster. This spell is freely given out by agents of the tanaa'ri to vain or desperate women eager to pay any price for beauty.

Nice spells. I havent seen anything about them I find overpowering. The bonusses gained aren't that great and it is obvious that the spells are mostly intended for role-playing purposes.
I think it would work well as a roleplaying opportunity, some rich yet hideous noble woman using her dabbling spell-casting powers to increase her appeal, not fully realising the cost of the spell.

Um. "Temporary wisdom drain"? Do you mean wisdom damage? Drain is permanent dy default, damage recovers at 1/day, if it helps.

EDIT:

Almost forgot. Cool spells, there.

Oops. Changed "drain" to "damage". Thanks for the heads-up.

Glad you like the spells. I'm working on a whole bunch of vile, corrupt and evil conjurations and feats for my current campaign. Will post more later.

Should I give out a better bonus to Charisma or let it go higher with caster level? I want the spells to be cool and dangerous, LOL, not underpowered, but want them to remain 1st level spells.

I actually think its good campaign-wise that these are low-level. Makes them available to pretty much any spellcaster. This means theyre open for any low-level caster, making temptations come early :)

Added material component (unholy symbol drawn on target's flesh, preferably in human blood from someone not involved in the ritual, hehe!). Changed casting time to 1 minute as you need time to draw the symbol correctly and chant for a bit to invoke the possession. The spells are not intended for combat application so figured this wouldn't hurt and might add some extra flavor, making them more ritual-like.

Comments?
