I don't have a copy of the Arms & Equipment Guide, if that book defined them... can anyone tell me if there are 3rd-ed defined prices for hawks and eagles (trained or untrained), and if so, what they are?
I looked back at my 2nd ed PHB and saw that trained falcons cost 1000gp(!!). I suppose that's probably historically accurate, relatively speaking.
