Could anyone recommend some good 1st-level modules for 4th ed.?

I've prepared a list of all the Dungeon modules here:

Menace of the Icy Spire is ok, make sure your group isn't cold focused or they may struggle with it (Mine did). Other than that one though all 1st level adventures are Chaos Scar. Storm Tower's good (lvl 3) and shouldn't be too difficult to de-level to 1st. Tariff of Reklingham took a ton of editing for me to play it for my group, but it's not great as written.

This is very helpful. Thanks!

Hello,

Can anyone recommend any good 4th ed. modules? I'm trying to find one to potentially use for a new campaign I'm running.

The only stipulations I have are:
  • Can't be the Scales of War Adventure Path: Myself and another player are players in another game that's running that.
  • Can't be Keep on the Shadowfell: have players who've already gone through that one.

I know there's some available ala Dungeon, but I'd like to hear feedback on any of those from those who've ran/played them.

I'd appreciate any recommendations you could provide.
My copy of Slaying Stone won't ship 'til Friday, but I heard good things on it.

I'd actually recommend Scepter Tower of Spellguard. It is 2nd-level, but offers advice on how to bump a 1st-level party up to 2nd.

I must respectfully disagree Klaus, I had a fairly poor experience with that module, seemed too combat heavy for me, although it could've been my group. I really liked the first part of it, but once you move towards the more dungeon-esque part of it I found it went downhill fast. The ending was decent though and leaves it open for the DM to build off of.

What I like most about Scepter Tower is that the different areas can be used separatedly. The tower itself is well designed, and I love the fact that the adventure helps you handle a "let's storm the tower first".
