Counter Collection Gold released as PDF

Fiery Dragon has released the recently-sold out Counter Collection Gold in PDF format. The Ennie-winning accessory is available at DriveThruRPG .

The PDF is going for just US$9, as opposed to the US$24.95 of the print version.

Along with Counter Collection Summoning (also available in PDF format), CC Gold covers nearly every single creature in the Core Rules (along with a few new surprises, like the Ogdoad, the Illujan Lord and the Ilujan spawn)

I'm a bit surprised to see that there isn't going to be another print run. I'd think if it sold out so quickly (DH has had a hard time finding it, and still hasn't gotten it), that another run would do just as well.

Personally, this is the type of product I'd rather have in "dead tree" format, since I'd end up printing out the whole thing anyway. I can see the uses for pdf too, though. Either way, congrats on the success & the award!

Klaus, I realize you're not the one calling the shots at FDP, but I really wish you could persuade the guys who do to put it up at a better site (e.g. RPGNow or even WW's other store, like Monte Cook does). I think the product looks neat, but I will not pay for crippled PDFs (especially not when the crippling doesn't serve its purpose anyway - I've managed to remove the DRM from several of the files they've had there for free). Start selling it at a reasonable place instead, and you'll get at least one more customer.

CC Digital is being distributed through Sword & Sorcery/White Wolf, so check out their catalog for availability (but it *should* be available pretty soon).

Allura -> Last time I've been to NY, I visited Compleat Strategist. Great store! (I bought my first 2e books at a Compleat Strat that used to be located under Rockfeller Center... that's where I got my d100 too).

And the official answer is....

YES, from the White Wolf store because I know for sure they have it in the warehouse as of Thursday Sept 23rd - but I am not exactly sure of the lag between the warehouse receiving it and them being able to ship out direct orders. I expect your local game shop should have it in 2 weeks at most - it's good to support those guys so get them to order in some copies!

I think the final counter count was 1192 images on the CD, but there is some overlap between directories - but you get over 1000 unique images! They were split up on the final compilation by monster type to make it easier to find what you need.
