It looks a like True Grit meets War of the Worlds.

No, wait, I got it: "Independence Day meets The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly".

(couldn't think of any high-grossing Bruckheimer-style westerns)

I prefer the more traditional "Minotaur" to either.
