Crafting in RotRL

We are about to start a RotR campaign and i was wondering about crafting time for PC's. I've played games before where there was little time for PC crafters or getting special items made. Any thoughts on this aspect of RotR? Is it worth playing a crafter? Or should you rely on treasure you find to get most of your items? Just curoius and don't want to dig too much into the detailed workings of the game.

There's not much of a timeline between modules as written. In fact there's a couple hooks between #3 and #4 that suggest that a year has passed, at least. Talk to your DM about it, but if he's halfway conscientious, you'll have the crafting time you need.
