Where can I find some useful games rules for insanity?

Let me be the first to say it: Unearthed Arcana has a fantastic section on sanity, which is basically taken verbatim from the d20 Call of Cthulhu game (which is acknowledge in the Unearthed Arcana section).

Mongoose's OGL Horror also has some nifty sanity variants...if you don't mind the horrid production values and the reams of typos and spelling errors.

Are either of these part of the open source material?
The horror/maddness rules in Grim Tales, OGL Horror and Unearthed Arcana are ALL open content.

I've gone ahead and copied the contents of the duplicate thread below:

Unearthed Arcana's got some. Essentially the d20 Call of Cthulhu rules reprinted.

CoC D20/Unearthed Arcana
Grim Tales
OGL Horror

I haven't read it, but there's the Book of Broken Dreams PDF.

As the others have said, CoC d20 or Grim Tales. Those are the ones I'd recommend.
Mostly the usual suspects, although Aitch Eye does has a new addition.

But are they part of the SRD?
No. Grim Tales & OGL Horror are both third party publications and to the best of my knoweledge WoTC hasn't added anything from UA to the SRD as of yet.

I don't know if any of the rulesets are currently available elsewhere online.

Wheel of Time RPG has rules for madness. That's a WotC product.

But when I saw the title of this thread, I kept thinking Crazy Go Nuts University. Five points for anyone who knows where that comes from.
