Creative Mountain Games's Medieval Fantasy Combat Miniatures Games have been accepted as official games at Gencon. There are some slots still available for each day, with 2 1/2 hour games running at 9am, Noon and 3pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, plus a 9am game on Sunday and, starting at Noon, a big game running in the Family Fun area. There's an easy basic game that can be learned in a handful of minutes, for all ages, and for those who wish a bit more of a challenge, additional complexity can be layered on the basic game. Any slot can accomodate any type of game and feel free to sign up with a friend who plays games on your own level, to challenge them directly. The basic game is kid-friendly, with children as young as five or six having been involved in the playtesting. Regular miniatures wargame fans have found that the game can be quite challenging at the basic level or with more complex variants. Keep the list of the event numbers with you so that you can find a seat and play!

Due to not having a large enough table in the Family Fun Pavillion to accomodate Creative Mountain Games's Medieval Fantasy Combat Miniatures Games on Sunday afternoon, the Gencon Event Staff helped rectify the difficulty by converting a nearby open gaming area into a MF CMG war room and ersatz CMG publisher booth. Thanks to the Gencon Event Staff for their swift action and resolve!

Thanks to EN World's Tony "reveal" Law, his son, Duncan, and Jim Skach for their participation and for bringing their "A" game to the table! :)

I just wanted to pop in an thank all of my players at Gencon for the many hours of fun and surprises you have given me, particularly Jim who kept an eye on things while giving me the occasional break. If you were part of the fun and frequent these boards, please be sure to post here or add a caption if you like to some of the pictures from the Best Four Days in Gaming! :)
