D&D 5E Creativity Challenge; A Character Based Around One Spell

Kavouras - triton male of Theros, Druid of the Land (Coast)

While the polis of Meletis is primarily a human civilization, it does have a substantial triton population from those communities that live off the coast in Meletis Bay. When Kavouras made the decision upon reaching adulthood to make the journey onto the dry lands above, it was soon discovered by the theurges of the polis that his skill and experience wielding the magic of the sea made him a very good candidate to serve as part of the Meletian navy.

He has been assigned to several different triremes in and out of the city over the last several years, as his ability to magically create as much fresh water as his human sailor compatriots need make him an invaluable crewmember of whichever ship he is assigned to. In addition, Kavouras' knowledge of the waters between the Meletian peninsula and the Despair Lands, his ability to wildshape in and out of aquatic forms, and his ability to speak to the creatures beneath the surface only enhance his already-sterling reputation as a sailor extraordinaire.

Despite what I said in the OP, as long as the "theme" of the character is about the spell, it's fair game. You could make a lawyer trying to outlaw the spell, tracking every use of fireball and noting the collateral damage as evidence. But meme character work too!
