For it's remaining feat, how about Improved Critical (claw)? That would seem to go well with its joy of spreading pain.
For weight, I'd imagine its proportions to be similar to a devourer, which is about 9 feet tall and weighs 500 pounds. Since the baernoloth is only 8 feet tall, perhaps 450 pounds?
For treasure line, maybe 100% coins; 100% gems; no items?

does that sound right? it seems many tall fiends were given extra reach, so i wasn't sure... (maybe it's just for those that use weapons)

Yeah, go with 10x10. A Large (tall) creature has a suggested reach of 10 ft.
Updated spell-like ability DCs:
Spell-Like Abilities: At will – alter self, charm person (DC 14), contagion (DC 17), crushing despair (DC 17), darkness, detect magic, discern lies, fear (DC 17), greater teleport, minor image (DC 15), produce flame (DC 14), suggestion (DC 16); 3/day – cloudkill (DC 18), true seeing; 1/day – demand (DC 21), symbol of fear (DC 19), symbol of pain (DC 18). Caster level 11th. Save DCs are Charisma-based.

rules recap, in case you don't remember... go to the first page of this thread and pick two monsters you'd like us to work on. still no dragons (although krishnath would love to do them for you, so tell him), and epic level beings will be done in their own thread.
if you pick a "set" of monsters (such as spider-demons, beholder-kin, sheens, mineral elementals, etc), that counts as both of your choices (and might eliminate the pick(s) for the next guy!).
