They do use it on some monsters in the XPH, but I just noticed in Sandstorm that they've dropped it as well.

The critter is otherwise finished, as far as I can tell.

That would be a good test for recent graduates from Astral University, don't you think?:lol:
 

is that your way of recommending Shade for the task? ;) LOL

BTW, i have prepped the patients for surgery, and will begin operating today. ;) we can change the lythlyx later if someone (Shade) comes up with a second psionics block afterward. :p

Alright, before I figure out the DCs, how does this "equivalence" list look?

Spell-Like Abilities: At will - charm person, confusion, ghost sound, mage hand, minor image, pyrotechnics, spider climb, unseen servant, water walk; 3/day - inflict critical wounds, lesser globe of invulnerability, slay living, teleport, temporal stasis (self only; dismissable). Caster level 9th. The save DCs are Charisma-based.

Mind Blast (Sp): This psionic attack is a cone 60 feet long. Anyone caught in this cone must succeed on a DC X Will save or be stunned for 3 rounds. The save DC is Charisma-based. This ability is the equivalent of a 4th-level spell.
 

i don't like the mind blast.

my instincts tell me that this list should be no more powerful overall than the psi-like list. other than that, i don't particularly care what you put on there. :)
 

The mind blast is the closest I could get to psionic blast. It should actually be a 30-foot cone to better emulate the ability. I'm find dumping it, though.

I'm interested in Knight Otu's take on the rest, since he already has his degree and is working towards his Master of the Astral Sciences.
