Creature Crypt, obscure monsters, and the Tome of Horrors

Hi,

Sorry if this has already been asked and I'm not sure if you're allowed to comment, but some of the creatures in the crypt are some of my favorites, like the Tasloi and Myconid. Is there any chance that these will be reprinted in the Tome of Horrors, even though they've already seen print by WotC? Some of the creatures are only in Dragon issues and the web, so they are not in a very convenient place -- as opposed to a nice, bound, book. Other ones are spread across several different sources that only have a small number of creatures in them, like Oriental Adventures - plus do I want to buy the whole book just for a handful of creatures if I don't like OA itself? It's not very convenient so I was hoping that the Tome might still have some of these creatures reprinted.

i understand, and share your concerns. but, as it is at the moment, no such monsters are slated to be in the ToH, so it looks like they're out. on the plus side, rumors suggest that the MM2 will contain monsters from Dragon magazine, so i'd say the chances are good that the myconid and others will be in a book later this year. can't wait till then? well, good thing for the creature crypt then.
