Yep, sounds just as good as the previews seemed to make it out to be! That Sphinx preview...Rowrr...that was an awesome monster.

This is one of my favorite changes in 5e.

One things that jumps out is how few monsters over CR 10 there are. While using more lower level monsters is always an option, I suspect groups who play a lot and reach 10th+ levels will have DMs doing more homebrewed monsters. Like others, I am eager to see their monster creation guidelines.
