Critical Hits against Undeads????

What's a weapon crystal though??
Is it like a weapon enchantment? One of those properties like Flaming or Holy?

It's from Magic Item Compendium; they're things you can attach to your weapon to get some extra bonuses, like, say, let you sneak attack/crit undead, give it bonus hardness, etc.

The Skullclan Hunter prestige class from the Miniatures Handbook also has a special ability that allows sneak attacking undead.

Swift Hunter feat for multiclassed ranger/scouts. Allows sneak and skirmish damage vs favored enemies.

Here's one way to do it that doesn't step too far otuside the existing mechanic.

If you have both Favored Enemy (undead) and the ability to Turn/Rebuke Undead and at least 5 ranks in Knowledge (religion), then, you can score criticals against undead. You've studied them more than probably anyone else, if there are "weak" spots on an undead, you'll know it.

Same old system, your weapon threats when it threats and you reroll for a crit.
