Crits on Bloodbath

I mean, I'm sure I could do whatever and the DM wouldn't notice, and if he did notice, he probably wouldn't care. As far as I can tell though, it would only add 1-3 damage, since I'm guaranteed to roll at least a 1 and can't roll higher than a 4.

I might max it out just for the sake of speeding up the calculation.

IF the effect were said to have crit, you'd also be getting your magic weapon critical dice (and any other on-crit bonuses or effects). So it really would matter quite a bit.

Knockout is awesome, but make sure you're not being a glory hog when it might not be the best move: in my party for instance the biggest crit my rogue can pull off is 3d4 + 2d8 (maxed) + 11 + 3d6, while the party warlord can drop 3d10+8+3d12, so I schedule knockout to happen right before his go and then take a bow.
