Cthulhu d20

Who is picking up the d20 version of Call of Cthulhu today? Im getting it at lunch today. I have high hope for this book.

Got it last night and I must say it is very nice. I haven't played CoC for a couple of editions so I'm not sure what the curent state of the game is, but the d20 version is excellently presented.

The visual design is...interesting. Great to have the full color paintings rather than line drawings, and the skewed columns really do lend to a sense of disorientation, but I'm not sure how easy it will make the book to use as a rules reference.

I'll let you know what my players think after I drop some of these things into my D&D game...hey, the Freeport series is all full of mythos references anyway!

Well, you could follow the link in my .sig and see how it's going for me and my players...just note thatI have a bunch of other stuff mixed in.

Seriously, there's a reason that all three of them are on the 'Top 10 Adventures' list over in the reviews section. Mystery, action, horror - they've got a good mix of elements that gives them a very wide appeal.

With a name like Brown Jenkin of course I am picking up the book after work. I too have high hopes for it from all the previews I have seen. High enough that I already submited an event for GenCon sight unseen 2 months ago.

I have had it since Sunday, it is a wonderfull book. Though I am still working on finishing my first read through of it.
