Mark Clover was my DM for The Chicago Gameday just past, and I enjoyed myself so much that I asked him for examples of his products. He was nice enough to give me review copies of his products, and I was not dissapointed by them. County Clergy is a well thought out and interesting NPC class from Creative Mountain Games, The layout was simple and easy to follow. The Class itself gave an interesting background into the local priesthood for most small towns, and the motivation for them to take a hand in the welfare of their townfolk. The description was well written and evokes images of what it is like for a small town priest, it also gives suggestions of where you might find a person of this class. I used this NPC in a recent game to help guide the players in a locale they were not familiar with, and to act as a source of local information and rumor. The Clergyman named Father Symon, was a savior for the players as they had no cleric. He also helped them by gathering information from his town, and even helped them with food and shelter.
The artwork and layout of this PDF was very proffesional and would find itself at home in any of the large trade magazines such as Dragon.
