Really? Oops...I assumed you could just press 'vote' without ticking anything.

Could a moderator add a 'none of the above' option please?

Uh...you forgot to list "None of the above." Wizards do not seem at all overpowered in my game. Yes, a min/max powergamer can cheese to no end, but that's a GMs call. I wish more GMs had a little backbone, then we'd not see so much nerfing.

As Roy said....spell focus +1....woop.....ee

I am also curious to know what changes are being made to Horrid Wilting, and to Disintegrate as well. I disliked the change to Haste at first, but seeing some of the strings, and rethinking, it is not a bad idea, and one I will be able to live with (as one who loves arcane casters), Unlike the Spell Focus, which is only adding +1 to DC for ONE school ?!! This is completely unneeded, and the only thing accomplished with this change is making the feat unusable! With having a hard time choosing between many metamagic feats, item creation feats, a few defensive feats, the +2 to just one school of magic was just enough to spend the feat.
Perhaps someone could give a good argument for it here? I really dont see why any one could think it comparable. Think of Weapon Specialization, where a fighter gets +2 damage for All attacks with his weapon, and that Weapon Focus applies to all of those attack rolls. Spell Focus is only applying to 1 of 8 schools (granted, 4 of those will really matter for save DC)... ::sigh:: does anyone else also have as much a problem with this as me?

I think the reason that Spell Focus gives only a +1 now is probably to try and cut down on the obscenely high save DC's that some spells can have. A poor fighter has enough trouble trying to make his will save against a spell without the +4 from Spell Focus and Greater Spell Focus.
Hopefully, the Spell Power abilities in the Archmage and the Red Wizard will be toned down... way down.
