Customizing the news-splash-thingies?

Just for fun, I added one of the tables on our campaign page. Is there some way to customize it - in my case I'd REALLy like to get rid of the background, because the color of the text really matches what we use today.

There is a way - you need to use the <a href="http://enworld.cyberstreet.com/news/backend.php">backend.php</a> page and will require some technical knowledge on your part. I personally don't know how it works, but I've seen that a couple of sites have used that method.
