D&D 4th edition conversions of AD&D

It's a common reply: "Oh it's easy you can do it yourself". If it's so easy why isn't there a huge repository of converted adventures? I'm guessing it's WotC ultra-restrictive copyright issues, which is costing us a lot of fun.

I think if you write your conversion as just a list of Monster names you aren't breaking any laws.
Encounter X
2 Orc Reavers (level 5 skirmisher) (Monster Vault)
3 Dire Wolves (level 5 skirmisher) (Monster Vault

I have been looking all over for conversions. I've found a few and posted them on our meetup site, as well as converted some myself.

Also, if anyone out there has done their own conversions, PLEASE send them to me. I would love to let people play them! The entire reason I started this collection is to encourage people to give me more.

Honestly, in my case, it's the time it would take to format and edit my notes into something I'd consider presentable to the community. I usually have a bunch of different documents with pieces of the conversion, stat blocks from here and there, the original module, and then add into it a little improvising and unexpected player action. By the time the arch is over, I've had the larger payoff of the conversion (namely fun), and I'm a lot less inclined to go back and try to put it all together for public consumption. That said, I wouldn't be adverse to doing one if I ever had the time.
