D&D at 50?

Some of us will be retired and playing D&D all day, assuming Alzheimers hasn't ravaged our minds to the point where we completely forget what D&D is. ;)

We were PLANNING on this in college, thinking we'd still be playing AD&D forever.

In 2024, I predict -I- will be running a Pathfinder or 3.5e game, unless editions 5, 6, 7, or 8 "go retro".

14 years from now? At the age of 42? I'll probably be playing BFRPG with our kids*, possibly using converted B/X-era modules such as X1: Isle of Dread.

* Not that we have kids right now, but we plan on having them in a few years once we'll finish with the university and start our Real Lives(tm).

Hmm 55?

I'l be either dead and playing perfect D&D upstairs, or down here playing WOTC's newest edition.

Or playing solitaire downstairs, who knows.

I'll be 45, and hopefully by that point my clone will have matured in the tank enough so that I can swap bodies and continue playing D&D* in a much younger shell.

*or maybe Shadowrun since a form of leonization is involved and all. And if that doesn't work, I'll have to go play Vampire and hope the Madame Bathory route works.
