Not their worst either, though. This one is a good deal better than last year's.
I mean, I already had everything except for the two Christmas-themed dice sets. But if I didn't already have all the adventures and gazetteers and things, I think I would've been quite happy with the content provided here.
I agree, people that aren't there all the time good some decent stuff.

As a very heavy user, I find it weird that I get the fewest Xmas perks. Like, I know that they are trying to attract new folks, but people like me are their bread and butter.
The advent calendar from a couple years ago was great IMO: a new product to promote the recently released book (Dragonlance Monster Compendium), some arts and crafts activities to print out for the kids, and some coupons for DDB books and a few licensed products (I remember using the WizKids coupon for some Dragonlance minis). It felt like a good mix of things back then.
I feel similar, and yet, that's how most companies work, alas
