D&D 5E D&D Beyond: Tricking Asmodeus

Asmodeus is rightfully damn hard to trick. Your best bet is seeking out someone else who is also incredibly cunning and intelligent, and asking them for a plan. Hopefully they ask a somewhat more benevolent price than Asmodeus, but securing their help would certainly be an adventure of its own.

They've been hinting at Tharizdun for awhile. One of them mentioned or at least supported the observation recently that Tharizdun was the ultimate D&D villain.

There were spooky-dooky hints about Tharizdun in Princes of the Apocalypse, but it never quite went all the way in detail.

Two things I could see them do in the next few years:

1. Do a Ghosts of Saltmarsh style reprint with the Temple of Elemental Evil, Lost Caverns of Tsjocanth, and Temple of Tharizdun (were there any Dungeon magazine Adventures tied to the Elder Elemental Eye/Tharizdun?)

2. A sort of Avengers: End Game where high level PCs need to team up with all sorts of cosmic dudes, including Asmodwus and Orcus, to stop Thano...I mean, Tharizdun.
