D&D bonanza!!

Gaming bonanza for all!

With anyluck, I'll have at least 3 or 4 games this weekend. It's our group's semi-annual BlagaCon(TM) 2002.

Basically it's my old college group sitting around trading one-liners and making a meager attempt at gaming...heck, we might even roll some dice before the weekend ends! :)

The woman in my life will be in Texas visiting the 'rents, so hooray to subsisting on pretzels, Taco Bell, and pizza for 48hrs straight!

I's about to say...

If I had an anti-social wife, I'd play D&D and lot more. It's all the "social activity" she schedules for me that kills my evening schedule all the time... :D
Well than tell her to stop and come back to the table already. Oops! Too late! I just killed your elf. ;)

Ah well, then I'm free! ;) Besides, aren't y'all taking a break for a few weeks and then running a one-shot Roberto dungeon special for a while?

bah. and here i thought this thread would be about a campaign featuring Tordek, Regdar, Mialee, Ben Cartwright, Little Joe, Hoss, Hop Sing, Lidda, and all your other favorites at the Ponderosa Ranch.

:p

Well once a month is my norm, too, so don't feel bad.

Gee, here I was feeling bad because my wife was "expressing concerns" about the gaming group starting a second weekly game to accomodate Spycraft, d20 SW, and other goodness...

I think it's the newest d20 setting! Yee haw!

Okay Eric, I gotta ask, what's the story behind the half-orc wizard? Is it a roleplaying inspired choice, or do you have some meta-game genius waiting to be unleashed on an unexpecting DM?

I'm playing a half-orc wizard/barbarian in a PBeM, but I haven't figured out if he'll be any good yet. I'm almost thinking I should've gone sorc/barbarian in order to qualify for rage mage (and to get more mileage out of spells like True Strike), but that's water under the bridge at this point. So, if you've got some degenerate combo that only a half-orc wizard could possibly pull, let me know.

No metagaming as far as the race/class combo is concerned. Vangkor is a pretty well-groomed fellow, wears a monacle and a long crimson coat with gold trim and a stout cudgel that doubles as a walking stick. Any metagaming has to do with the thought that the module is called "ELEMENTAL Evil" so he's an invoker specialist with the Energy Substitution feat (sonic) because ... ahem ... very few critters have sonic resistance. :)

Women! You can't live with 'em ... pass the beernuts.

That's my second favorite Cheers line of alltime, preceded only by, "Dance Mailman!"

BTW, I'd be happy if I could consistently play once a week, forget your bounty...however our group hovers around the 2-3 times a month range. Just paint me green with envy right now EN.
