D&D for Dummies - any good??

Also they list the Weapons of . . . book, but not the Complete series. They have a Hero series (I assume this is the same thing)
It is. The catalog lists Complete Adventurer as "D&D Hero Series Supplement".

I don't think it's mentioned anywhere in the actual books, though, which makes it a pretty bad label.

Maybe they're planning to revise the titles when they reprint.

We have em

I work at B. Dalton which is a division of Barnes and Noble, and we received ours last Thursday. Got 4 copies in, put them out on Friday, and by Saturday 2 were stolen. Same thing happened to Races of Eberron; 5 in...2 out.

Makes me not want to carry Role Playing stuff sometimes.

Oh well.

I agree on the "pimping" other products sections. I was looking those sections over thinking to myself, "That is in the Top Ten? Give me a break." I did like the helpful tips on different things D&D throughout the book though.

I bet its the same person or persons who's been stealing em.

I got my copy, which i ordered for my gf a few days ago. Flipping through some random pages the book looked pretty decent in explaining how various things worked
