D&D General D&D: Literally Don't Understand This

The characters are wearing modern clothing, and one is carrying cell phones in a Sci Fi setting. It's the reverse of D&D where the anachronism is modern stuff in an ancient setting, whereas this is modern stuff in a sci fi setting. Sure, the cloths and phones from our era could exist in the far future, but everyday people wouldn't be wearing/using them - those items would either be long forgotten, or in a museum.

so what will future lizardpeople be wearing? Maybe floral shirts are making a comeback like bellbottoms or bobby sox, and we dont know that the multiple 'cellphones' being used aren't some kind of holographic projector or drone interface

We went from discussion of an odd choice for publicity images to high heels to altered webcomics by Nazis to vids about radicalizing people to implying that people familiar with Nazi images and iconography are probably Nazis themselves. Godwin wept.

I know this without reading the entire thread because damn near the entire thread has gotten reported.

At this point, I don’t see anything salvageable from letting this thread continue. Y’all go find something else to butt heads over.
