Congrats. One of my friends bought a case of Desert of Desolation. The Cube was the thing he wanted the most, but he didn't get it. I bought a case as well. I opened every booster pack in it and was despairing near the end but lo and behold! there it was in the final freaking booster pack. I was so happy.

And yes, the borrom comes off. Took me some figuring out how to do it, but once it comes off the first time, it's easier the second, third, fourth, etc.

I have tried & tried, but I can't seem to get the base off. I'm afraid I'll crack it if I try any harder. This thread has reminded me of this failure! Maybe I'll try to chill it first. . .

I would instead try warming the cube (not the base) in hot water. Keeps plastic softer so less chance of cracking, also warms the inside air to build pressure to help push out base.

An Underdark booster & DoD booster? I haven't seen any of these around town for a while now. Finding those boosters alone was a good find
