Lord Sothe!? Can't he cast Power Word Kill at will? Either they are going to have to tone down his abilities a LOT, or anyone who owns him now has the makings of a thousand point warband

Don't believe so. I'd have to recheck the DLCS Death Knight template...

The old-school Death Knights (1E) could cast once per day each, a 20-dice fireball, all the power word spells, and (i think) one or two symbols. Those guys were, well... death incarnate. Soth did cast a power word, kill in a weis/hickman Dragonlance novel once, as well.
