Hey as long as I can trade away the rares I don't use (anyone want a Mindflayer? Looking for Kobolds.)

I could always use a spare MF. I don't use Kobolds at all.

Drop an email to "kesh at mac dot com" and we'll talk. I'm not sure just how many kobolds I've got, and I'm moving, so it'll probably be late next week before we could work something out.

Oooh those look nice.
Can't wait to get them. Better start saving for that case now ;)

Merric, since you do the numbers (and I don't) after getting a case of these what does the probabilities say I will not get ? Just curious.

BTW after one case of Archfiends I was missing 8 rares and 1 uncommon. But I just picked up 5 rares and the uncommon I needed by buying 5 opened packs on ebay for a decent price. (Gets me a few extra grunts taht way also)

A case is 12 huge packs (and rather expensive, but money solves all expensive things. ;))

From that case you will get:

12 Huge figures - on average 3 "rare" huges and 9 "uncommon" huges; that enough to get half of the "rare" huges (assuming no duplication), and 1.5 of each "uncommon" huge.

12 Rare figures of the 23 available, assuming no duplicates (Hah!)

36 Uncommon figures of the 21 available - so about 1.6 of each uncommon.

48 Common figures of the 16 available - so about 3 of each common.

Cheers!

I will email you next friday that way you can get settled into your new place. :)

One thing to note is that since there are so few different rares or huges statistically that getting an "average" result is not particularly likely to happen to any given person. Ie, actual distributions will tend to appear swingy to any individual.

Roll a d20 12 times and count each result above 15 as a "huge rare" to see what I mean. You mostly get 3 "huge rares", but it's near as likely to get 2 or 4. Hope this made sense! ;-)

Thanks Merric & Gizzard.
I was just trying to figure out how many I would have to try to get individually after buying a case. Planning ahead you know.
