D&D Minis for campaign use

I am going to be starting a campaign soon and was thinking about purchasing D&D minis for use in it. I also wouldn't mind getting the minis to actually play the mini game.

Can anyone recommend a good online retailer for purchasing singles?

These 3 ebay sellers do not gouge on shipping and have real good prices to boot.

Ordering in bulk really does save on shipping from reputable sellers like these.

Tell 'em Frankthedm sent you.

Oh and don't be afraid to pick up "learning center " toy animals. Glue them to metal washers or poker chips for bases. One you get the hang of it, look into mage knight figs to re-base for D&D use.

I have purchased from Popular Collections and can recommend them.

I have purchased about a half dozen times from The Card Vault and recommend them highly. They have good prices and selection, they only display what they have in stock (see below) and they don't charge an arm and a leg for shipping. The one time I had a problem, it was resolved in less than 24 hours (on a weekend no less) with no questions. Highly recommended.

OK, I've had problems with both companies listed above.

I placed an order at IconUSA and they ended up not shipping five of the seventeen line items I ordered because, despite being displayed as "in stock" on their web site (which contained plenty of "out of stock" labels, so you would believe the "in stock" ones would actually be in stock) they said they were out of stock. They adjusted the price of my order, but they didn't consult me to see if I wanted to cancel the rest of my order (I would have), they just shipped what they had and charged me. Sorry, but if you can't keep your website updated (I just checked now and at least one of the "out of stock" items - that's all I can remember off the top of my head - is still listed as in stock, almost a month after the fact) I have to drop you onto my "bad dealer" list.

Chumba Toys is currently an in-process problem. I placed an order there and they shipped 11 out of 15 line items, but charged me for everything. I contacted them about the problem and, several days later, they assured me they would take care of it. We'll see what happens, but currently, their shipping process alone is sloppy enough that I can't recommend them. We'll see if they just have sloppy shipping, or if they actually end up ripping me off. I'll update this thread when things have played out.

Stick with The Card Vault.
