Until Aberrations, basically anything that wasn't humanoid (and a few humanoids, too, by the way) had a Difficult rating that made them a pain to field in a skirmish. Without the right commander, they were basically useless, acting out of command and without any strategy.

That's what I thought, thanks.

Besides the dragons, the only figs in this set that really interest me are the warforged wizard and the beholder.

And the Skullcrusher Ogre, right? Right?! ;)

Little dissapointed in the look of the Forest Troll (he really didn't need the leaf miniskirt) but that won't stop me from getting 5 of him!

The Centaur has a weird coloration. I wonder if his parents are divorced because of his mother's dalliance with that bull...

The Griffon looks great, too (and is another monster for CG, they are notoriously short on them.). The dire animals rock, both badger and bear, as does the wolf. And most other figures are either quite nice, or at least solid. Only a couple of the figures annoy me. That toad certainly isn't their best figure, that's for sure. And the scorpion.... well at least it's no praying mantis....

The sad thing is, I actually played a session of "random encounters" consisting of a pack of dire badgers, some myconids and a dark naga.

Sigh.
Demiurge out.
