D&D Minis on Sarah Connor Chronicles Tonight

If you can find a way to catch it, one of the terminators on the Sarah Connor chronicles was learning/playing the mini game. References to both the Umber Hulk and the Mind Flayer, and Vorpal Sword...

Also, to much amusment, the idea that the terminator could roll a 20 at will...

Funny.

"I am ready to face the mind flayer." Roll. "20."

Just as a sidenote to regular viewers of the show, the D&D stuff was actually the least thing to leave me slack-jawed, this episode.

Just wanted to say, "You bastard!" for posting this before I had the chance. That'll teach me to watch yesterday's Daily Show before today's Terminator!

I'll be back later, paused in the middle of the episode and don't want to accidentally read any spoilers.

Worth noting: This was foreshadowed a few episodes back, when John Henry was seen painting pewter minis.

Why, that's yesterday's (fake) news! :D

I had a good excuse... I was up til 2 am the day it aired playing D&D at a friend's dorm next to a cute asian chick. No jury in the world would convict me. :D

On a somewhat related note (in that it immediately followed the episode in question): Eliza Dushku as a dominatrix. O_O

I have yet to watch that yet on my DVR.

...

I didn't think there was a way I could look forward to Dollhouse any more.

Edit: I think I need a cigarette, and I don't even smoke. Amusingly, it is topical; Echo did mention that she had a dungeon, after all. Maybe she's a priestess of Loviatar. :D

I assume it is towards the end of season two? Which episode? I will need to write it down, danish television only started their broadcast of the show, so we are a tad behind.

If they are broadcasting the same sequence, then it should be the very beginning of Episode 9.

Rechan is talking about Dollhouse. Assuming you meant Terminator, it's the last episode of season 2: Born to Run. That's actually kind of a bummer, from the way it ended I was thinking it was the penultimate episode... I mean, it was a cliffhanger, but not a season-ending cliffhanger. :(

Also worth mentioning: Episode 6 of season 1 was entitled Dungeons & Dragons, though it had nothing to do with the game.
