D&D 5E D&D Next Q&A: Monster Entries, Class Focus & Random Tables

Looks positive.

I'd like to see organization be written using dice in addition to a range (i.e. 3.x). So a manticore entry would look something like this:
Manticore
Organization: Solitary, Pair, or Pride (3-6 [1d4+2])
Instead of this:
Manticore
Organization: Solitary, Pair, or Pride (3-6)

I like it all. Satisfying Q&A.

I especially like random tables for treasure. My least favorite part of planning adventures is assigning treasure parcels. I love randomly determining and then modifying as I see fit.

"This is one of the reasons why we’re looking at putting more interaction and exploration abilities in classes like the fighter;"

Thank the gods! They're finally listening.

Maybe they have been listening all along, but for whatever reason, it hasn't been high on their list of priorities. Perhaps they felt they needed to figure out how the exploration and interaction rules would work, before they gave the classes the ability to use such rules?
