D&D slides farther into popular culture

I just think Andy is a hottie.

Oh, and I played in a grade school D&D group, but not in a high school one.

Funny, in university I started gaming with guys I had gone to high school with. One of them was a great DM, and he introduced us to Ravenloft. Damn you, Harkon Lukas!

Ooo, well la de da...you people in the East with your fancy 5pm prime time...
Huh? Us east-coast folks have 8PM primetime. It sucks. Everything is on too late, unless you're a good-for-nothing college student who refuses to take a class before 10 AM. I haven't been one of those for the last two years since I finished grad school! :)

There was a gaming club in my high school back in 83-87. I went once. Most of the folks were playing Axis-n-Allies or risk. There was one group playing AD&D but they were playing Greyhawk and I just refused to use published material back then. So I never went back. Besides, you could only really play for about 2 1/2 hours and that just wasn't worth it to me.

Crap, and here I was waiting to find out when the show was going to start. How long has it been on, and when does it show? I heard about it a couple weeks back, then never saw anything else. :(

When I was in junior high we convinced the school to allow RPGs as one of the elective courses offered. While other people were doing photography or macrame we were playing GURPS, TMNT and AD&D.:D

Did anyone ever actually HAVE a D&D club in high school?

Mine didn't. Wondering if others did.

I think they still freak out here in Texas when kids bring D&D books to school. Of course this is also the same place where I believe a guy wearing an ear ring(s) is considered a safety hazard.

Good ol' bible belt.

I ended up as VP of the college gaming club. Before that, there was no club per se in High School, but I was the DND Mastermind, running games instead of eating breakfast in the cafeteria and we also ran games IN CLASS after our work was done and as long as we didn't disturb our classmates. And this was in Oklahoma no less! rural Oklahoma.

We played DND, Gamma World, and TMNT!

Trevalon Moonleirion, you named your principal, then said all kinds of nasty things about her, in writing. Way to Libel someone! Never heard of defamation suits, have you?

When it's true it's not libel.
