The Wizard of Oz would, I assume, be a Rogue with absolutely maxed out charisma skills, *especially BLUFF*.

And in later years (C. sometime after 1906) Oscar Zoroaster Phadrig Isaac Norman Henkel Emmannuel Ambroise Diggs does indeed pick up a few levels of Wizard, though by then the Land of Oz was ruled by Princess Ozma, who has regained her rightful throne...
