D&D TV Mini-Series rumor!

Hi all,

I'm just letting everyone know that there has been some discussion going on at the D&D Movies yahoo group about the possibility of a new D&D TV Mini-Series being done for SCiFi Channel based on Wrath of the Dragon God.

The WotDG wikipedia entry is the only place that seems to have any information on this and there hasn't been any confirmation. Supposedly it is slated for 2009, but without any hard evidence to support the wikipedia entry one has to wonder if its just smoke.

Anyway, has anyone else heard anything about this?

Well it isn't listed on imdb. So a rumor is exactly what it is at this point.

I do have hope for it though, and look forward to hearing more.

UPDATE:The statement on the 'show' still stand. With no futher proof to back it up.

And oh, I got a reply from a moderator, who stated, that the premise of the TV show series was talked about at Gen Con, when the 2nd movie was showcase there.

Depends on what was agreed between Joel Silver and Courtney Solomon (the current owner of the D&D motion picture right).
