i just went to go and look up some eberron and forgotten realms articles and all the archives are empty.
does anyone know if they're gone for good?
or perhaps this is some glitch in the transition?

My guess is glitch -- there's another thread where it appears that a bunch of stuff from 2006 & 2005 seem to have "vanished" from the lists of articles, but they are really still present, just without links going to them.

Example -- 2004 Eberron article list is showing up:

http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/archeb/2004

Not so 2005 & 2006 (though there is one odd link for 2006).

Similar deal with FR:

2004 http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/archfr/2004

2003 http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/archfr/2003

Etc

They're still there for me... must be a glitch?

Aren't these self same articles the ones that they will soon collate into their digital magazines for subscription? I say they are tinkering, it can't be a coincidence at this point in time.

They're definitely still there, you just can't access them through the usual links- the products don't list links to the web enhancements and things, the archives don't list a lot of the same material.

Not sure what that portends- whether they're just relocating them, or if they're planning on removing them altogether.

I went to access the online Tools dealing with monsters, classes, prestige classes, etc. and found that only the monster one was online. Hmmm. Those are pretty useful to have around, and I can see no reason to remove them, so I'm thinking this is a glitch.
