imposing young man, Grimm has a great bushy beard and a considerable amount of body hair covers his arms and the rest of his body.  Grimm’s body is crisscrossed with scars from battles both old and new. Background: Grimm is the child of Arthur and Alicia Grimm, Grimm’s father Arthur was the last descendant in a long line of natural were-bears, Arthur and Alicia lived deep within [insert name] woods, living at one with the land, and protecting it from evil predators and men. One day Arthur stumbled across a group of ruffians who had killed a local woodman who was unable to pay the exorbitant ‘protection fee’ from a local band of brigands, in short order Arthur transformed into his hybrid Ursine form and quickly dispatched all but one of the thugs.  Arthur commanded the thug to relate the events of the day to bandit chief, and warned them to flee. Or face a similar fate. Little did Arthur that his kindness would result in his own death and the death of his wife. The bandit chief was incensed by the actions of Arthur, and quickly began to find out as much information as possible about Arthur and Lycanthropes in general. Once he and his mean were prepared he organised a raiding upon the Grimm’s. Although the Grimm’s were outnumbered by the Bandits, they fought with such ferocity that it enabled their 12 year old son Brody to escape into the woods to safety.  It was upon this tragic day that Brody met the man he would later come to call ‘Father’, a man that he would spend the next 8 years of his life following, despite the tragic loss of both his parents, Brody managed to retain his naturally jovial behaviour, thus it became somewhat of a joke between himself and his father to call Brody by his surname Grimm.   Along the way during their many adventures together they met up 3 other men and women who were also saved by this man, and they too looked up to and followed this man as their leader, all of these were profoundly influenced by this man they followed. All were also profoundly affected by how this man sacrificed his own life to save those he considered friends and family.  Since that time Grimm’s name has taken on a new meaning, feeling responsible for the death of his Father and friend, gone are the easy smiles and light hearted humour that has always characterised Grimm’s personality. As the days and months have passed Grimm has increasingly become sullen and withdrawn, Grimm has also shown a willing disregard for his own life and safety, frequently his friends have had to risk their own lives to come to the aid of their reckless companion.   Grimm now views each battle as a way of punishing ‘fate’ for the loss of original family and now the loss of his new Father. All of this changes in an instant, with the appearance of the long dead leader, who has returned to lead them once more.[/sblock]</blockquote>
