I looked at the trailer for this and thought...

"Oh, it's an ad for an XBox game ... no ... wait, it's a disaster film? Wait, more like Godzilla meets 1970s Kung Fu meets Star Wars meets ... oh dear... what is this supposed to be? And why the kids?"

I can't figure this trailer out for the life of me. I think it may end up being the film version of Rifts -- a bit o' this, a bit o' that, all thrown together for no apparent reason... :(

I saw a trailer on TV for something called Dragon War, which I believe is this. 'Good Dragons vs. Evil Dragons' was what they said about the plot. This makes it look a lot more interesting.

Of course, I hate Dragons in modern times. Jets and tanks with armor piercing ammo? Dragons lose! If they're scales are tough enough to defeat the ammo they can't fly! Unless it's mega-magic, in which case science as we know it (or physics anyway) pretty much has to be scrapped in toto. Which, of course, never happens in these things.

Dragon's wouldn't be able to fly without magic *regardless* of how hard/heavy their scales are.

Glide, mabye, but it's effectively impossible for anything approaching the mass of a typically-depicted dragon to fly by flapping wings.

Let me get this straight...

The Dragon Highlords armed with hi-tech weaponry decide to invade Los Angeles via the use of a magical mcgruffin and they are stopped by the combined force of the US military some chick and a guy with emo hair?

I can't believe nobody is talking about this movie:

I'll definitely go see it for the same reason I saw all three Jurassic Park movies the day they released, and it wasn't for the story.

I recently caught "The Last Legion" at the theatre, and they played a very similar trailer to the one you linked to for "Dragon War".

Looks like a movie with a riduculous plot, shallow depth to the characters, great cgi dragons fighting helicopters and such . . . . .

OH MY GOD I AM SO GOING TO SEE THIS ON THE BIG SCREEN OPENING WEEKEND!!!!!!!
