Dragon's wouldn't be able to fly without magic *regardless* of how hard/heavy their scales are.

Glide, mabye, but it's effectively impossible for anything approaching the mass of a typically-depicted dragon to fly by flapping wings.
If a pteranodon with a 30-foot wingspan can fly...

"Oh, it's an ad for an XBox game ... no ... wait, it's a disaster film? Wait, more like Godzilla meets 1970s Kung Fu meets Star Wars meets ... oh dear... what is this supposed to be? And why the kids?"

I can't figure this trailer out for the life of me. I think it may end up being the film version of Rifts -- a bit o' this, a bit o' that, all thrown together for no apparent reason... :(
As long as there is less boring downtime filled with human drama than Reign of Fire, I'll be quite happy with this upcoming movie.

I must be the only person on Earth who LIKED 'Reign of Fire'...

This looks awesome though. Horribly tacky, most likely. But it *looks* awesome.

A pteranodon has a slightly different mass to wing-surface-area ratio than classical dragons...

Very different.....pteranodons were built like living kites...they were very light, gracile....even the largest of them. Dragons, on the other hand, are flying tanks.

I liked the CGI dragons and other reptiles. That's what i came for and I was satisfied.

The evil warriors were a touch low budget and there were some cheezy "attacking with fireworks" parts. Another audience member made a 'Power Rangers' comment that was not wholly inappropriate. The General reminded me of Domodar with no lipstick and a deeper voice.

The plot was a laugh riot for me and my friends. We were cracking up about the old man tricking a parent so he could be 'alone' with the young boy.

Draco-cobra was quite dumb at times though i think he looked cool.

The Military vehicles vs the dragons and reptiles were awesome fights

A heavy does of Deux Ex Machina
takes out the evil warrior horde

American audiences will not like the ending.

dies as she was destined
to.
