(From the games I'm currently playing in)

85) A crotchety old gnome schoolteacher lady. Oh, she's an illusionist too, but mainly spends her time playing pranks on the paladin.

86) A halfling bard whose performance method is Stand Up Comedy. Only works if you can personally do improv comedy. Inspire courage = making jokes about the enemy that are so bad you fight harder to try to end the battle sooner so he'll shut up.

87) A stupid cleric. Actually, pretty unwise, too. Ends up taking some sorcerer levels because her only decent stat is Cha. Still thinks she's a cleric, though.

88) A temple guard who became enamored with above high-cha stupid cleric and is "guarding" her through her travels. She has no clue he likes her.

89) A halfling paladin with a half-orc follower smarter than he is and a pack-mule named Mojo.

(next party)

90) a psychotic sniper-archer

91) a character who wants to take over the world... but can't seem to decide on what class he wants to be. At 10th level, I'm guessing he's a rogue/fighter/sorcerer/aristocrat. He won't say, though.

92) A prostitute-turned-assassin (really only works if not played by an immature male player)

93) A sorceror/rogue with a parot familiar. The familiar has a strong tendency to squawk everything his owner thinks but won't speak.

94) A halfling aristocrat with a massive interest in tongues, those of particularly rare creatures especially. Also prescribes to a personal theory that the details of ones' tongue dictates their personality. To further his research, he tends to collect and mummify the tongues of those whom he encounters in battle.

95) A goblin monk who fled survitude under his harsh hobgoblin owners. Has a powerful hatred for many goblinoid social mores, but lacking any contact with the human world still unwittingly partakes in acts others would consider disgusting or depraved (eating flesh of enemies, stealing from vendors (if he wanted it why wasn't he carrying it) and the like)

A character I was trying to make last week:

75) A Bard who sings utterly out-of-tune.

Clearly inspired by Goscinny & Uderzo comics character Troubadourix.
Isn't he Cacofonix?
His Bardic Music ability would not be able to grant anything good to allies, but only to scare, deafen, level-drain and even kill enemies. Unfortunately he should have a very low charisma and terrible Perform to hit the idea...

I always thought there should be a variant bard that does this - it's easy enough to work out. Although you wouldn't have a terrible perform skill and a bad charisma - just a perform (bad stringed instruments) skill. He performs badly really really well.

What happens when you botch a perform (badly) roll?

:)

Anyway, in Finnish he's called Troubadourix, in Italian he's called Assurancetourix (if someone could explain why...), and in English he's called in fact Cacofonix.

Let's hear from Gez which is the original name!

(97) A half-elf raised in a community otherwise exclusively of elves. Now an adult - he can't stand elves. He wants nothing to do with them and makes fun of their condesending attitude and long-lived ways whenever possible. Currently adventureing as part of his investigation into his human heritage.

(98) The barbarian/sorcerer who believes his powers come from his god. So he calls himself a holy man. THis can be very confusing to the meta-gamers who ask him to dump one of his prepared divine spells in order to cast a needed heal.

99) slight Flip on number 97, a half-elf raised in a community of elves and utterly depressed by his "extraordinarily short" life-span. Investigates the necromantic arts, in hopes of gaining some sort of ill-goten longevity.
