D100 random Spycraft adventure hooks.

There have been a few of these d100 adventuring ideas threads for D&D in General RPG Discussion, but I have never seen one for Spycraft, so I thought I'd start one. :cool:

1. An evil genius has stolen a nuclear weapon and is threatening to detonate it in a major city unless his demands are met (we might as well start off with the ultimate cliche spy movie plot ;)).

2. A spy satellite containing highly-classified technology has fallen from orbit and crash-landed inside the borders of an unfriendly country. It must be recovered or destroyed before it falls into the wrong hands.

3. An unknown group of assassins are killing friendly agents all over the world. Control wants the team to find out the identities of these killers, as well as investigate the possibility of a mole inside the Agency.

4. A series of brilliantly-engineered computer viruses are wrecking havoc with the world's information network: banking, stock trading, electronic databases, communications, and even the World Wide Web are being affected. Control wants the team to find out who is behind this wave of what could only be described as "cyber-terrorism."

5. A senior terrorist leader wants to defect. He's promised to provide information on terrorist cells all over the world in exchange for a full pardon and protection from his former associates. Is he telling the truth, or is this a trap designed to lure agents to their deaths?

6. A high-ranking official from the Agency thought to have been killed in action has recently been spotted associating with officials from an unfriendly country.

7. The Agency is concerned with the research being undertaken by a major pharmecutical company in regards to infectuous diseases. The team is sent to investigate whether or not this research could be used to create biological weapons.

8. A helicopter carrying a US (or other friendly country) ambassador has crashed in unfriendly territory. The agents are sent in to rescue the ambassador, but all is not as it seems...

9. A known terrorist is spotted in Monte Carlo right around the time the Grand Prix is about to happen. The Agency sends the agents in to find out what is afoot. A good cover is for the agents to pose as a race team.

10. Someone has stolen a vial of some incredibly infectious disease (ebola? anthrax?) from the research labs in Russia. They are now holding a secret auction in Beirut to sell it to the highest bidder. The agents must work with a Russian super-soldier to try and stop the auction from taking place.

I like this one. It sounds like it would make good use of Spycraft's chase rules. :cool:
 

11. A large group of refugees has become sick after receiving a UN food shipment. Did someone poison it? Who? How? Why?

12. An oil supertanker in a friendly harbor has just been discovered to have false registration papers. Technically, the boat doesn't exist. Who owns it and what's it doing here?
 

13. An experimental space ship is stolen from Area 51 by a group of terrorists and launched into orbit. Who are they and what are they doing with it?

14. The team's contact, the one with Tourette's, provides intel that some group in Antarctica found a WW2 submarine base under the ice. Could this be connected to Karl Wolf's recent purchase of several small, rocky islands South of Argentina?

15. Several contest winners (some weird contest) has landed a dozen guests on the first "cruise submarine". Several people of interest in a data breach are onboard for a week. One's a kid star and her manager, one is a notorious gem thief, and another has ties to the KGB. Good luck.
 

16. A typical heist mission, except that dossiers of the PCs are found within the other materials you are looking for.

17. A typical heist mission, except another team is looking for the same macguffin at the same time.

18. A typical heist mission, except your team is being set up to take blowback while the real target is less guarded.
