I guess you can start one up over there, then. :D

Hi,
I'm a publisher of d20 in hebrew.
However, I don't understand how did you get the impression that D&D sells like crazy here :)
It's not, Israel is a small country.. 6 million ppl. do the math and you shall see that it is a very small market as well.

kolikeos, I don't understand why you say there is no place to buy stuff in israel.
First there is my online shop (http://shop.pundak.co.il)
Second there are a few brick&mortar stores selling stuff
Third there are two multiple-day conventions and a few smaller one each year where you can buy stuff....

I guess this article on how the Israeli Defense Force frowns on D&D may have affected my perceptions. I figured that there would be a lot of people (based on the article's subject) with D&D fever. Although, I admit that I thought that the percentage of Israelis playing D&D would be higher than the Americans playing D&D. :D

about those cons, do you know when and where one is going to be?

Hi,
The next con is at pesach - www.roleplay.org.il, enjoy :)

Well, the whole IDF story is bull-:):):):)e - so don't trust that :)
we have a ratio of between 1:750 to 1:250 roleplayers:normat ppl (rough number, if you count anyone that have ever played it is much better :)
