D20 cyberpunk

August Hahn must be, like, the most prolific game writer in history. (S)He's got another 128 page book coming out that month, and I've seen that name as lead writer on about 5 products from Mongoose leading up to September.

August is not a man. He is a machine. At great expense, Mongoose commissioned the creation of the first Games Designer AI program, which we are currently running on six networked P4s. All we have to do is type in various parameters and, within seconds (it seems) a complete manuscript pops out. It is good stuff - some day, all books will be written this way.

Or August just works damn hard - take your pick :)

Err, no, it's just me. One second after I hit the send button I noticed that too @ vorpal/slashing but I was to lazy to change it.

No he doesn't. What he owns is the trademark to 'Cyberpunk' as an RPG title, which means only that no one else can produce an RPG with the specific title 'Cyberpunk'. 'd20 Cyberpunk' isn't the same.

yes, it is... you cant use the word Cyberpunk anywhere in the title of an RPG.

A LATE-BREAKING TATTLETALE REPORT!!!

No, but I'll be sure to snitch, err, inform R. Talsorian GAmes that there may be a trademark violation. :D

Of course, I would not be surprised if RTG gave SJG expressed permission if the product in question is adapted from the original game.

ohhh! Interesting, if it's true, that would remove any claims on the word Cyberpunk as an RPG title.
