D20 Detectives Handbook- Looking for help

Are there any plans for a Victorian-era D20 game? Sidran's showed that it would work well for the Victoriana "genre", and classes and other "d20-isms" seem like a natural fit.

I said this in the last post but not well enough.

Plans for a Victorian era game

Yes, not necessarily in real world places I.E. London I am thinking about doing a City Guidebook for such places later with a Case Book adventure, and new tid bit info on differing things. Like I am actually not sure that I will put Sherlock into the Main book, but Putting him, Watson, Moriarty, and Jack The Ripper in the City Guide book would make a lot more sense ( what I want to call my adventures put out for this Sourcebook)

The first Guide book I want to produce is for the Iconic city of Knigtonshire

Classes and other " D20-ismss" seem like a natural fit

I agree and how I am going to handle them is by a paragraph (or 2) blurb on each class as a Detective, as a Murderer and the like

Sidran, you're single-handledly doing more to convince me that d20 is actually worth doing as a generic system than all the d20 Modern stuff combined. Good work!

Have you seen the Victorian/Sherlockian-ish comic that CrossGen is doing yet (Scion?) More nice inspiration, there.

I haven't seen them, no :( you have a Url to the site?

Thanks for the kind comment. I have found that the D20 System and the OGL are two of the most powerful and useful devices of any modern publishing industry ( Fiction, non fiction or otherwise)

Oh and its not single handedly anymore

Teitan111, and Cperkins ( Chris Perkins, from over at the Thirdedition.net) and Jaerdaph have been doing a lot for the book, and for the thought process about creating our own D20 PDF Publishing Company which we are thinking will be called Laudanum Press

No single hand

Hello all,

I a very excited about this project and hope you all enjoy the final release whenever that is, LOL.

I am Teitan111 by the way, friendly editor and art director for whatever we call this company. The work is coming along at a nice, even pace. A lot of great ideas are flying around as well and maybe we can get a fluff preview up in a few days, what do you think Sid? Maybe an adventure seed or somesuch? LOL

There are also plans within plans within plans for this thing and you will be very surprised.

Jason
