[d20 Future] Campaign Setting Wishlist

First Post
So what's your wishlist for d20 Future campaign settings?

I think my number 1 would be a Halo campaign setting (based on the XBox game and the cool background set out in the novel).

I'd also like to see a campaign setting based on Larry Niven's worlds (Kzin, Ringworlds, Puppeteers, etc.)

What settings are you crossing your fingers for?

Personally, I'd rather Wizards revive TSR's IPs:

Star Frontier
Star*Drive (based on Alternity)
Magitech (based on Amazing Engine)
MECHA CRUSADE (d20 mini-game from Polyhedron)

Honestly?

Mecha Crusade is my #1 wish. It's just so damn well done.

Behind that are Dark*Matter (not because I like it, but because lots of Alternity fans are still out there) and a high-quality Starcraft setting once Starcraft 2 comes out (which may not be THAT long after d20 Future).

Is this "we're allowed to dream" time? If so then Dune, Dark Space (perhaps Monte could get the license!), Starship Troopers, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and Aliens vs. Predator.

Shadowrun, Robotech (Palladium voluntarily surrendered this license a while back, so it's available again.) and its original component series, a revised Traveller T20 (the basic/advanced class structure is ready-made for a Prior History system), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Palladium gave this one up as well.), Mechwarrior (w/ full integration for both Mechwarrior: Dark Age and Classic Battletech), Ghost in the Shell/Appleseed/Dominion: Tank Police (as all of them are connected). Oh, and The Red Star.

Unfortunately, getting the Mobile Suit Gundam license is not an option right now. First, it's expensive. Second, R. Talsorian Games has the license. Third, both the Japanese and the (we hope) English version are Interlock-based products.

Ahhh... Star Frontiers!! My first Sci-Fi RPG!! How could I have forgotten that?! I'd put that at #1 or #2 on my list as well.

Ooooooo! That license is all over the place right now (new comic series, XBox, GC game, DVDs, etc.) so it might actually be plausible! I'll always like Robotech... it was the first game that I GM-ed consistently :)

Oh, wait. You mean "campaign setting"? I thought you mean campaign models, like the three campaign models featured in the d20 Modern Core Rulebook.

I know I gave four choices, but I'd like to put a high priority on MECHA CRUSADE to be included in the planned d20 Future supplement.

For campaign settings, either by Wizards or third parties:

Robotech (may have to compete with GOO's d20 Mecha.)
Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda
Joss Whedon's Firefly (if it can't be a TV series, might as well be RPG.)
Flash Gordon's Universe

Why wouldn't you not already be able to use D20 Modern for Darkmatter? Its almost a straight conversion minus the flavor text.

Night's Dawn (Hamilton)
Necromancer (Gibson)
Thistledown (Bear)
StarDrive (Alternity)

das Darke
