Since D20 Future doesn't come out until August you most likely won't see the afore mentioned interview or a preview of the book until the beginning of August, though as someone mentioned this month's "In the Works" has a tasty precis of the book. In another thread Andy Smith (I think Smith is his last, apologies if I have it wrong) mentioned that the D20 Modern SRD would be updated in August with the D20 Future material (sans PI of course )

One thing I'm wondering is if they will have rules supporting more powerful Franks and Moureaus who have level adjustments and little in the way of flaws. Because in some places such as Dark Angel genetically engineered beings are just simply better.

Anyways they mention Yazirian, Dralasites and Vrusk as PC races. So they're bringing back the races from Star Frontiers who were known as the Hadozee, De Grunk and Rastipedes in Spelljammer, and probably the Sathar as well. Though I'm wondering with they're bringing back the Alternity races as well. Even though there's already Fraals, Weren and Sesheyan in the Menace Manual, I wonder if they'll have them in that book as well, along with the Mechalus and Tsa.

How soon after will the SRD be up on the wizards site after the D20 Future book hits the shelves?? Also thanks Rodney for the info on the extra stuff...

Andy Smith says 2 weeks... On the other hand, I'm sure he's a VERY busy man and the SRD updates do sometimes get pushed back.

2 Weeks?

Wow! That's a pretty tight timeline for it.

I just hope they are able to stick fairly close to that timetable. Don't get me wrong, I've pre-ordered the book already it's just I also like having the SRDs as that allows me to customize my game a little easier (ie: I use them/ modify them to create a sorta "omegrown/house rules" rule book that I print off for the group to use.)....

I have a feeling something should be coming down the pipe soon. I've already done an interview for the WotC website, and I'll see if I can't talk a little more about the starships (at least, the templates) since that article in Dungeon #113 finally hit shelves.

Oh, and I got word today that one of the big sections that got cut from the book will be given away online as a free web enhancement, so that should please you all.

Woo hoo! Is this what I think it is? Woo hoo!
