Hey, thanks! That's not the impression I got of Dark Inheritance based on the blurbs I'd seen so far. I'm actually significantly more interested that I was before.

I'm glad that caught your interest.

I'm very curious what your impressions have been up to this point? We're tyring to find effective ways to marketing the book and knowing how we might not have been as successful as we'd hoped would be a great thing to learn.

Please feel free to email me at chad@mythicdreams.com so we don't clutter the board with the discussion (unless others are interested as well).

Both Solid! and the Countdown Mission Packs are much closer to ConX than D&D. In fact, there's going to be almost no magic in Solid! and Countdown doesn't have anything in it that deals with the supernatural.

Hyrum.

Hehe, I'm so looking forward to SOLID!

Based on stuff I had heard here and there on the message boards, I got the impression that Dark Inheritance was more of a grittier version of Unearthed Arcana. But most of that's secondhand feedback. I'm assuming you have a website with some blurbs on the book and what to expect? I'd like to have a look at them.

"Upcoming:

The first Countdown Mission Pack is almost out - I think their last playtest is this weekend at a Con in San Francisco.

This playtest was going on at DunDraCon over the Pres Weekend.

To the best of my knowledge it did not happen. The game only had 2 people sign up for it, and according to my friend(one of the 2 signed up) the DM had to cancel due to a lack of players.

I hope this will not have a negitive effect on the product, as I'm looking forward to it.

Thanks. That is very good to know. I'll make sure to distinguish Dark Inheritance more from Urban Arcana.

We certainly have a website (check my sig below). Currently there is the Dark Inheritance cover, some interior art, and an early draft of the Eldritch Monk advanced class (there were various small problems that were fixed after playtest).

On Friday we'll be putting up the first legacy descriptions. The legacy's iconic character will be included with his or her character sheet.

Tomorrow I'll be posting a Table of Contents, which will include the class names (advanced and prestige), legacies, and other general information about the book.

Yep, we had the playtest all set to happen but got saddled with a less than desirable time slot (Sat morning, 8:00 am) plus were weren't in the main book, only the errata.

However, there was a lot of excitment for the book as we spoke with people over the weekend and we're still moving forward with it. In fact, we make be sprucing it up once I crunch some numbers.

Hyrum.

Perpetrated Press has both Arsenal and Factory, which (with web enhancement to the former) have d20 Modern conversion documents. I'm pretty sure Factory will have the conversions in the book.
